Id have enjoyed playing as Galatia and Tylis if I had been more aware of how to develop and manage those factions (public order was always a pain). Fantastic diplomacy and trade, one of the easiest start positions in the game, relatively quick access to elephants and excellent chariots. Not much competition except Carthage, who has other enemies and can be kept at bay until it is weakened anyway, and a whole lot of room for expansion into Gaul and Illyria, not mention good units. I've struggled so far to be successful on the campaign map, even though I'm good at battles. So what, in your opinion, is the best faction to play is in Total War: Rome II Personally, I think it's Rome.
